Kairos: The Next Age

Kairos addresses the present condition of humanity after the fulfillment of the biblical age. If the work of Christ is complete and religious mediation has ended, then faith functions differently.

In the Next Age, God is not manifested through institutional structures but encountered inwardly through the Spirit of Christ. Faith becomes subjective in the sense that it is personal, direct, and uncoerced. It is not defined by external affiliation but by orientation of the heart and expression of agape love.

Subjective faith does not eliminate community or shared learning. It removes the claim that any collective entity speaks for God. Individuals are responsible for pursuing truth, remaining open to correction, and living relationally rather than institutionally.

From this framework arises the concept of redirecting religion. If religious institutions no longer carry divine authority, their resources need not sustain hierarchy and control. Time, attention, and financial resources can be redirected toward education, humanitarian care, and the cultivation of love in lived contexts.

Kairos therefore combines description and application. It names the age, defines faith within it, and suggests a gradual transformation of religion through individuals who understand its limits.
