Pathos: Criticism of Religion

Pathos concerns religious authority. The Yeshuan Model asserts that no doctrine, denomination, lifestyle, or institution possesses divine authority in the present age. This position is described as Zero Ecclesiology.

Zero Ecclesiology does not deny the value of community, study, or tradition. It denies the claim that such entities speak for God or mediate salvation. If the biblical age has concluded, then the authority structures attached to that age no longer govern humanity.

Religious systems often maintain influence through fear, exclusion, condemnation, and identity reinforcement. Pathos examines these mechanisms and seeks to disentangle them from claims about God.

This pillar does not aim to destroy religion through opposition. It aims to clarify its limits. Religion becomes an earthly endeavor rather than a divine mandate. From this perspective, individuals are free to participate in religious settings without granting them spiritual authority.
