Definition
Material Changes of God with Man refers to the shift in how God relates to humanity across covenantal ages.
Context
While God’s nature is understood as unchanging, the mode of divine engagement shifts within the biblical narrative. Under the Old Covenant, mediation occurred through temple, priesthood, sacrifice, and law. Within the fulfilled framework, that mediated structure concludes.
The Yeshuan Model maintains that the present age is characterized by immaterial relationship rather than institutional or sacrificial mediation. The shift is covenantal rather than ontological.
Implications
Recognizing this change prevents the projection of Old Covenant structures into the present. It clarifies why religious institutions cannot claim the same divine mandate as temple-centered systems.
It also explains the movement from external regulation toward internal orientation.
Common Misunderstanding
This concept is sometimes interpreted as implying that God changes in character. The Yeshuan Model maintains continuity in divine nature while recognizing shifts in covenantal administration.
