Steadying the Ark of Mormonism with The Great News
The Ark Steadied is a theological and reformative work by Shawn McCraney and Delaney McCraney Norris that reexamines the doctrines and history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, urging a return to the spiritual reality established by Yeshua the Messiah—the “Mighty and Strong One” foretold to steady the ark. Drawing from decades of open investigation and scriptural study, the book asserts that Yeshua has already fulfilled all prophecy, bringing an end to material religion and reconciling humanity directly to God. Through this victory, the world has entered a spiritual “Eden” where each soul freely chooses to live by faith or by self, and the institutional church is replaced by the inner leading of the Spirit. Declaring that “everything before Christ has been put under His feet, and everything after Him, God allows,” The Ark Steadied invites all modern-day saints to live by Light, Learning, Love, and Liberty under the steadfast work of the One who truly steadied the ark—Yeshua Himself.
