Who Is Your King
AI-generated summary
McCraney's central claim is that true believers must recognize Christ as their sole king, with the kingdom of God existing within them spiritually rather than externally or politically. He contrasts this with natural humanity's tendency to seek external, fleshly kings (1 Samuel 8:5-7), arguing Israel rejected God's reign by demanding an earthly monarch.
Drawing on Luke 17:20-21, McCraney emphasizes the kingdom operates invisibly, internally, and spiritually—"cometh not with observation." He positions this against worldly kingdoms governed by political leaders and material concerns.
From the Yeshuan perspective, this reflects their emphasis on subjective faith and internalized spirituality rather than institutional religion or external authority structures. The "Eternal Kingdom" is a matter of individual heart allegiance to Christ alone, transcending political affiliation, nationality, or human hierarchy. This aligns with fulfilled eschatology by locating God's kingdom in present spiritual reality within believers, not in future political manifestations or earthly establishments.

Exploring the Kingdom Concept
Show 59s Who is YOUR King?
Show to air November 29th 2021
Who is your king? In order to answer this question well I suggest we have to first ask ourselves, what is your Kingdom? Perhaps you are a free agent without a kingdom? I suppose that this would mean you have no king either? There are kingdom’s a plenty in this world and most of them come equipped with . . . a king. So, what is your kingdom? Where does your true citizenship lie? Under whose authority do you serve? And to whom do you submit?
In 1st Samuel 8:5-7 we read that the Nation of Israel came to Samuel and said to him, “Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD
7 And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.
See, natural men and woman have always sought to have mortal kings of flesh and blood reign over them because natural men and women have kingdoms of flesh, carnality and material.
A Kingdom Within
We read in Luke 17:20-21 A
And when he (Jesus) was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:” and then he added, “Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
That is the location of a Christians kingdom folks – within them. And therefore, the King over that Kingdom is within, is invisible, is spiritual and operating on the heart and mind of souls rather than playing to the material world around them.
The Eternal Kingdom
I care not what kings or queens men and women embrace to reign over them in their life, nor the kingdoms of which they choose to be a part of, but my Kingdom is not of this world, does not come with observation and is within me, and the King who reigns over it is God. No man. No woman. No political affiliation. No country. President, Prime Minister, no archae but the primary source reigning over the Eternal Kingdom within - Christ.
