Central Claim: Shawn McCraney articulates a personalized faith synthesis—selectively appropriating strengths from multiple Christian traditions (Catholic reverence for Christ's sacrifice, Anabaptist discipleship, Mormon community structure, Franciscan worldview, Universalist theology, Quaker ethics, Baptist devotion, Amish sacrifice, Salvation Army compassion, and Arminian free will) while rejecting institutional Christianity's authority structures.
Biblical Basis: The passage implicitly grounds itself in subjective Spirit-indwelling and agape love as ultimate theological anchors, though specific scriptures aren't cited.
Yeshuan Perspective: This exemplifies fulfilled eschatology's emphasis on present, Spirit-empowered living over institutional mediation. The final declaration—"independent disciple...living subjectively through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit"—reflects the Yeshuan commitment to direct, personal Christ-encounter freed from denominational constraints. Salvation becomes realized through immediate Spirit-relationship rather than institutional frameworks, positioning the believer as autonomous agent accountable directly to Christ's indwelling presence.

The Personal Journey of Faith
After years of seeking and searching I have come to the following conclusion:
“When it comes to honoring the crucified Christ, I am a Catholic; when it comes to following the risen Lord, I am an Anabaptist. When it comes to organized religion, I am a Mormon; when it comes to this world, I am a Franciscan. When it comes to the longsuffering of God, I am a Universalist; when it comes to loving my neighbor, I am a Quaker. When it comes to personal devotion, I am a Baptist, when it comes to sacrificial living, I am Amish. When it comes to loving the poor, I am of the Salvation Army; when it comes to dedicated zeal, I am a Jehovah’s Witness.
Engaging with Different Traditions
When it comes to communion, I am a Lutheran; and when it comes to freewill, I am Arminian. When it comes to accepting all people in His name, I am Episcopalian; when it comes to worship, I am a born-again Evangelical.
Independent Discipleship
But when it comes to eternal salvation, rising to new life, putting on the new Man, yielding to the Spirit, and producing the fruit of agape love to the sole glory of the One True God . . . I am an independent disciple of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ living subjectively through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.”
